Hello :) I am a Comparative Literature PhD student at St Andrews and hoping to break up the long library hours with a babysitting gig! As a babysitter, I believe in bringing enthusiasm and a smile to the job and prioritise screen-free activity and child directed play.
My Experience
I have been babysitting since I was in school (more than a decade of experience), caring for children across a wide age range. I have been an after school nanny (5 days a week for academic year) for two families: one with middle-school age kids where responsibilities included Homework Help, Getting Kids to Extra-Curricular Activities, and Making Dinner, and the other with Nursery/Preschool aged children where responsibilities included Bath, Dinner, and Bedtime. During the pandemic, I nannied for a 3yr old home from school, providing a homeschool-like program.
My Qualifications
No formal qualifications. English and French Speaking.
My Availability
I am available weekday mornings before 9am if families need help with school drop-off; however, I do not have access to a car. Happy to help with school pick up during the week as well.
