About Me
I am a 19-year-old who has always had a deep love for children and caring for others. Growing up in a big family has given me plenty of experience with younger siblings and cousins, teaching me patience, responsibility, and how important it is to create a safe, nurturing environment. I am reliable, hardworking, and I persevere in everything I do, always striving to give my best effort. I hope to pursue a future career as a pediatric nurse, and babysitting is a meaningful way for me to gain hands-on experience working closely with children while doing something I genuinely enjoy.
My Experience
I spent two weeks on the paediatric ward in st george’s hospital in tooting for work experience which further reinforced my desire and love for caring for children.
I babysit my 5 and 1 year old nephew as well as my 4 year old niece frequently on weekends and during the holidays, doing this on a regular basis has helped me created proactive and fun ways to keep children busy and occupied without having to watch TV and be online
I also worked in a school uniform shop so i had to interact with children and their parents, this is effective since building a relationship with the parents is crucial as trust is the key to maintaining a professional and enjoyable babysitting experience so that they feel as though their child is safe in my hands.
My Qualifications
I have completed my GCSE’S with 9 qualifications
I also completed my A levels, i did a double award in health and social care as well as sociology
I am currently in university doing a foundation year in health sciences, with the expectation of going to do child nursing in september.
My Availability
i am available on fridays, saturdays and sundays. Occasionally i could possibly be free on thursday, depending on my school week
