Isabel
Babysitter in London
My Summary
About Me
I am an energetic, creative, and patient person with a background in the arts and a genuine love for supporting children as they grow. My experience in Theatre means I’m always ready to dive into an arts and crafts session, a DIY costume project, or any creative play that sparks a child’s imagination. While I love the creative side of life, I am also very organised and comfortable using technology or household systems to keep things running smoothly.
Currently, I am studying my A-Levels in Politics, History, and Sociology. My studies have made me a curious learner and a strong communicator, which helps me connect with children of all ages, whether we are reading stories together or working through trickier homework assignments. Having grown up in a large, family-oriented household with deep roots in Jamaica, I have a natural appreciation for different cultures and a calm approach to the "busy-ness" of family life.
For me, the best part of childcare is building a child’s confidence. I aim to be a steady, encouraging presence who can balance a structured routine with plenty of fun. Whether I’m prepping a fresh meal, managing the school run, or supporting a child with SEN, my goal is to ensure the day feels manageable for the child and stress-free for the parents.
My Experience
I offer over three years of professional experience across nannying and Teaching Assistant roles, complemented by a background at the Kiln Theatre. My work is defined by a calm, nurturing, and proactive approach; I am equally comfortable managing the logistics of school runs and after-school activity clubs as I am with settle-down time, reading, and storytelling. Having grown up supporting siblings with dyslexia and managing ADHD myself, I specialise in building inclusive, structured environments that help children stay organised and thrive. I am happy to get stuck in with all aspects of household support, from cooking and tidying to laundry and supervised homework help. My goal is always to provide a safe, caring, and organised space where children feel supported in their daily routines and encouraged to grow.
