Experienced, hands-on carer for our two girls, ad hoc but regular

We’re a family in The Park, Nottingham (NG7) looking for a warm, capable carer on a flexible but ongoing basis. Hours won’t be fixed, but the work is regular and we want someone who becomes a trusted part of the girls’ lives, not a rotation of faces.

Our girls
A 1-year-old and an 8-year-old. Our youngest is a happy, busy baby; our eldest is bright, sociable and pony-mad. Both well-routined and used to being out and about.

The role
Day and evening care as needed, with occasional sole charge over 24 to 48 hours including overnights. The regular work is days and evenings. The sole care comes up now and then, so we need someone confident running both children and the household solo when it does, from morning through to bedtime and overnight.

Essential

• Real experience with babies: feeds, naps, settling
• Proven overnight and sole-charge experience with more than one child
• Driver with own car
• Paediatric first aid (or willing to certify)
• Enhanced DBS and references we can speak to
• Reliable, unflappable, genuinely warm
