About Me
I am an experienced Early Years educator with over 10 years of teaching experience and currently work as Head of Foundation Stage at an international school. I have worked with children across a range of ages, with particular expertise in early years.
I am warm, caring, reliable, and passionate about supporting children’s learning and development through playful, engaging, and curiosity-led experiences. I always strive to create a safe, happy, and nurturing environment where children feel secure, confident, and valued.
During term time, I live and work in the UAE, and I return to the UK during the summer and Christmas holidays, where I am available for babysitting and childcare support.
My Experience
I have completed a wide range of training and professional development courses through my teaching career, which have strengthened my knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and child development. Alongside my role in education, I have many years of babysitting and childcare experience and genuinely love spending time with children of all ages.
I enjoy creating fun, engaging experiences for children, whether that’s trips to the park, arts and crafts, baking, imaginative play, or active outdoor activities. I believe children learn best when they feel relaxed, happy, and involved, so I always aim to make time together enjoyable and meaningful.
I am also a proud auntie to four young children, who I regularly care for, giving me lots of hands-on experience in supporting children within a family setting. In addition, I tutor children aged 5–10, helping to build their confidence and support their learning in a positive, encouraging, and engaging way.
My Qualifications
BA (honours) Primary Education 5-11 - Early Years & PE Specialist.
My Availability
I am available from Monday 13th July until 14th August and can offer flexible childcare support throughout this period. I am generally available most weekends and can often work around personal plans to accommodate babysitting requests. Weekday and evening availability is also possible depending on location and timings, and I am happy to discuss midweek overnight care where suitable.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
My rates start from £18 per hour and may vary depending on the number of children, location, hours required, and the type of childcare support needed.
