We are a professional family living in York looking for a warm, dependable, and proactive childcare professional to care for our bright and active 14-month-old daughter. As working professionals, we value clear communication, reliability, and consistency. Our goal is to find a trusted professional who will provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where our daughter can learn, play, and thrive.
Schedule & Hours
Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Frequency: 4 days per week (32 hours total per week)
Note: We can discuss and confirm which specific four weekdays work best during the interview stage.
Key Responsibilities
Active Toddler Care: Ensuring a safe, engaging environment for our daughter during her waking hours.
Routine Management: Sticking to her established nap schedule and milk/meal routines.
Developmental Play: Organizing age-appropriate activities, such as reading, singing, sensory play, and local walks or outdoor time.
Meal Preparation: Preparing and feeding her healthy, balanced meals and snacks throughout the day.
Requirements
Experience: Verified experience working with toddlers, with a strong understanding of early years development.
Safety Credentials: Must hold a valid Pediatric First Aid certification and a current Enhanced DBS check.
Qualifications: Ofsted registration is highly preferred.
Traits: Patient, energetic, reliable, and genuinely passionate about early childhood care.
