About Me
We are a family living in Newham with our two girls aged 9 and 11. I am a director, writer and dramaturg working across theatre, live performance, events and screen. My husband is an actor. Our children love being outdoors, drama, swimming, reading, dance (and also watching films and tv)!
My Requirements
Both of us parents work in the arts on freelance contracts and our work schedules can be inconsistent and sometimes require evenings or long days! We sometimes need after school support and the occasional evening and weekend. They're pretty independent but just need someone to be around with them at times where we might have a work clash.

We first met Priya in 2015 when we'd just moved to the area and were looking for some childminding support for our then two year old daughter! Our daughter spent around three days a week with Priya and Kids in Motion and had such a fantastic time. She was supported and nurtured, and the range of activities was excellent. We then left the area, but have now returned with our now eleven year old daughter and also our nine year old. Our girls still remember Priya and she now comes to babysit. So I can attest that Priya is great with all ages. Our girls feel secure and looked after and are always excited to see Priya again!
