About Me
I am looking for a fulfilling role working with children and supporting families in their day-to-day lives. I’ve found that nannying and housekeeping come very naturally to me, and I truly enjoy helping parents—especially mums—when life feels busy or overwhelming.
After being made redundant in Summer 2024, I began working part-time as a Nanny and Housekeeper for a lovely family in Essex. This role taught me so much and showed me that meaningful, family-focused work is where I thrive.
As the eldest of four siblings, caring for children has always been a big part of my life. I’m used to busy households, I’m proactive, and I’m confident stepping in and helping wherever needed. Supporting families and helping their homes run smoothly is something I genuinely love doing.
My Experience
Nanny Responsibilities
Helping with homework when needed
Planning fun, age-appropriate activities and outings such as library visits, trips to the zoo, arts and crafts, and relaxed play at home
Taking children to and from school and after-school activities
Supporting the wider family with childcare, including caring for and supervising up to seven children
Housekeeping Responsibilities
Preparing lunches and family dinners
Helping with laundry, changing bed linen, ironing, and general household tidying
Supporting day-to-day household tasks such as dusting, hoovering, washing floors, polishing silverware, food shop, walking the dogs, and caring for animals where needed
Assisting with painting, decorating, and anything else that helped the household run smoothly
Lending a hand wherever needed, including supporting members of the extended family
One of the most meaningful parts of my role was the relationship I built with the mother I worked for. Being able to support her was truly special, and I was lucky to gain not just a role I loved, but a friend for life.
My Qualifications
Degree and Masters degree holder - both first class. I am well Educated and happy to assit with homework where needed :)
My Availability
During the days - can be before school or after school for the right family :)

- Household Help from £19.00 per hour
