About Me

Hello, my name is Faith Alexander from Cosy Chicks Childminding, a newly registered childminder based in Lowestoft, and I am excited to welcome new families. I share the setting with my Co-Childminder, Jo Tame from Puddleducks Childminding.

I provide a safe, nurturing environment for little ones to grow and learn at their own pace; prioritising lots of play, fun and outdoor adventures to help children understand the world. Following the EYFS framework, I'm passionate about supporting children to develop into confident, eager, and independent learners!

My Experience

I have over 4 years of Early Years experience, working with children aged from 8 months to 4 years. I have consistently worked with children in a variety of settings, from nurseries to transportation for children with SEND. I have also spent the last 8 months as an Assistant Childminder alongside the application process to register on my own.

My Qualifications

I am Ofsted Registered, with an enhanced DBS check on the update service. I also hold active qualifications in Pediatric First Aid and Safeguarding (DSL). Additionally, I have completed a Level 3 BTEC in Child's Play, Learning, and Development, supported by additional courses in FGM and the EYFS.

My Availability

I currently have a few spaces available from September, and am more than happy to welcome new families or add to a waitlist if necessary.

My Fees

  • Childminding from £6.00 per hour

I currently accept childcare funding from 9 months, which I am able to stretch across the holidays if necessary. My hourly rate for any non-funded hours or additional fees is £6.
