About Me
My name is Tanya, and I am a reliable and committed childminder offering full-time childcare for children aged 6 months to 10 years. I provide a safe, calm, and nurturing environment that supports children’s wellbeing, learning, and development.
I have over 11 years’ experience working in a school setting, covering teachers from nursery through to Year 6, which has given me in-depth knowledge of children’s development across different stages. Throughout my work in school, I have gained valuable experience supporting children with different needs and abilities.
My childcare practice is based on a gentle and respectful approach, with a strong focus on safeguarding, emotional wellbeing, and consistent routines. My primary focus is ensuring that each child is safe, feels comfortable, and is happy in my care. The setting includes access to outdoor space, regular walks to the park, carefully planned activities that support children's learning through play.
Being a parent to a 17-year-old son, and having cared for young family members, has given me first-hand experience of children's growth and learning.
I am available Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm, and would be happy to answer any questions or arrange a meeting.
My Experience
Worked at a primary school from 2013 to 2024 as a Teaching Assistant, One-to-One Support, and Higher-Level Teaching Assistant.
Gained experience working with a variety of ages from Nursery to Year 6, supporting children with different needs and abilities.

Tanya is much more than just a childminder – she is a true professional and a wonderful educator. She genuinely cares about every child and puts her heart into everything she does. She is kind, patient, caring, and always willing to help. Like everyone, she sometimes has personal commitments, but if you discuss things with her in advance, she is always understanding and does everything she can to support your family.
Our daughter, Liza, absolutely loved spending time with Tanya. She was always excited to go and often asked, “Can we go to Tanya’s today?” For us, that was the best proof of how happy, safe, and comfortable she felt in Tanya’s care.
Tanya prepared delicious homemade meals, organised fun and educational activities, and created a warm, welcoming environment where children could learn and grow. She didn’t just stay at home with the children – she regularly took them to the local library, museums, parks, and community events around Sidcup. Liza always came home excited, telling us about everything she had seen and learned. We were impressed because Tanya introduced our daughter to so many wonderful places and activities that we didn’t even know existed ourselves.
It is very rare to find someone as dedicated, caring, and professional as Tanya. We are incredibly grateful for everything she has done for our family and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any parent looking for someone they can completely trust with their child.

I’m a mother of almost a three years old baby girl who has attachment issues and never been away from me. I’ve decided to search for a smaller setting and more one to one approach. I’ve got exactly what I wanted. Tanya is amazing, very attentive, very gentle and soft and my daughter build a connection with her very easily. Her setting is very clean, she provided great healthy home made meals, always taking her kids out to the park, to the playground, to the library- at the end of the day I received a ton of pictures of their activities and feel very included. As a mother I feel secure and safe leaving my child- we even travel to Tanya from far as I’m 100% trust her and it’s worth the time!
