My boyfriend and I are lucky parents to a lovely, charismatic little boy called Ludo. Born in July he is 6.5 months old.
We are two working professionals. I have a full-time job working in the fashion industry. My boyfriend is a Hospitality and Property expert - so we are both quite busy. We live in Highbury/Clissold Park.
Ludo had a challenging start to life as he was born with a condition called TOF/ OA, an acronym for a condition that affected his food pipe and windpipe. He was also born with an imperforate anus. He had an operation the day after he was born to fix his oesophagus which went incredibly well.
He currently has a temporary colostomy bag which will be reversed along with doctors correcting his imperforate anus with an operation early March.
Ludo is an absolute trooper and despite this challenging start is the sweetest, happiest, most charming little boy. A joy to take care of.
My Requirements
We already have a childminder for Ludo on Wednesdays and Thursdays so we are looking for someone to help on Tuesdays. Childcare requirements involve coming to our home, hours from 8.30am until 5.30pm where Ludo is looked after one on one. His colostomy bag does not hinder his movements or developments. We will need to demonstrate how to empty the colostomy bag which is very simple, and is to be treated as any baby would need a nappy change.
We’d also would like some house work doing during the day. This would include cleaning the flat, doing the laundry, changing bedsheets etc.
