About Me

Hiya!
I'm Sarah, 27 and currently doing my masters in Play Therapy with QMU. I have almost 3 years experience in creche and after-school club settings. I have also done a bit of private babysitting back home (in Ireland). I am fully DBS and PVG vetted and have completed child protection training.
I currently work with children one-on-one for therapeutic placements, and lead larger groups of children for art, yoga, and even dungeons and dragons club in childcare settings! I am now hoping to move from my current role to babysitting, in the interest of reducing hours to make time for my uni workload.
I have practical experience with children who have ASD, ADHD, language and visual impairments, though I'm not yet a qualified additional needs practictioner. I'm patient, fun and not easily overwhelmed!! Happy to do some chores/cleaning too. Please feel free to get in touch :)

- Bachelor's degree in psychology
- Conducted community research project (undergraduate FYP) with local youth centre members, 6 months
- Research assistant on international team of children speech and language experts (project looks specifically at DLD), 1 year
- Currently doing MSc in Play Psychotherapy with Queen Margaret's University

My Qualifications

Bachelor's in Psychology. Qualified fitness instructor. Currently studying for my masters in Play and Developmental Psychotherapy with QMU.

My Availability

I'm available Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I would be open to discussing Wednesday (evening) and Sunday shifts on occasion also.
