My Summary

My Experience

At the YMCA, I planned and facilitated age-appropriate activities for children aged 3–11, supporting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. I created fun and engaging activities, encouraged positive behaviour, and helped manage and resolve conflicts in a calm and supportive manner.

At the Somali Youth Development Resource Centre, I mentored children and supported them with schoolwork and personal concerns. I worked closely with children who had learning difficulties and ADHD, which helped me develop patience, understanding, and the ability to adapt activities to individual needs. I also helped organise group activities, trips, and sports sessions, creating a safe and positive environment for children to grow and feel supported.

My Qualifications

GCSE including English,Maths,science,history,classics and computer science.
I am currently studying at university and continue to develop skills such as responsibility, time management, and communication, which I apply in my work with children.

My Availability

I am available on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends.
On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, I am available after 4:00 pm.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour

My standard rate is £16 per hour. This may vary depending on the level of care required, time of day, location and duration of care.
