Part Time Nanny Job In London
About Me
I am a 30-year-old London-based nanny, born and raised in Hertfordshire, with a long-standing love for and commitment to working with children. After seven years working in advertising, I recently made the decision to step away from the “rat race” and pursue a career in the area I care most about.
I am privately educated and hold a 2:1 degree in English from the University of Bristol. Alongside my professional background, I have extensive hands-on childcare experience both within my own family and professionally. I have two nieces and two nephews, two of whom I lived with during their early years. I naturally took on a nannying role within my family, supporting their care from birth and taking pride in being a consistent and meaningful part of their development.
I’ve also supported other families through a mix of regular babysitting and nannying as per my CV, and have received very positive feedback. In addition, I have supported children in educational settings including Spinfield Primary School and Windmill Nursery, and I am actively building further experience ahead of my teacher training, planned for September 2027.
Becoming a teacher is my long-term goal, reflecting my genuine passion for children’s learning, happiness, and development. In the meantime, I am fully committed to providing care that’s warm, consistent, and reliable, and to forming warm, trusting relationships with the families I work with. I bring calm energy, creativity, natural intuition, and a thoughtful, nurturing approach to working with children, and I’m excited to continue growing in this field while learning about and supporting each family’s individual needs.
