My Summary

My Experience

Although my chosen career path is working with adults, I have always had a interest in working with children and i have gained a wide range of experience working with young people. Prior to completing my nursing degree, I worked as a Nanny in Italy for several months. This was my favourite role as I truly loved every aspect of the job and formed meaningful relationships, creating memories that I will cherish forever.

Before this I also worked for a short period in a nursery, caring for children as young as 2-3 months old through to pre-school age. In this role, I carried out daily tasks to ensure each child was care for safely, effectively and with warmth, ensuring they felt supported and valued.

Alongside my nursing degree, I also provided regular care for my godson form birth, one day and night per week and sometimes full weekends and I continue to do so now that he is two and a half years old. This involved planning and engaging in creative activities, attending baby classes, swimming sessions, park visits and soft play, as well as preparing nutritional meals and carrying out a wholesome bedtime routine.

I am currently awaiting a start date for a new nursing role within a hospital setting; however, I am keen to continue developing my skills and gaining further experience working with children. I strongly believe that children flourish in a kind and nurturing environment where they feel safe to be themselves, are encouraged to explore their creativity, and are surrounded by people who care for support them.

My Qualifications

I have GCSE qualifications in maths, English, All science's, Performing Arts, IT, Health and Social Care.
I have A-Levels in Health and social Care and English Language
I have a First Class honours degree in Adult Nursing form Northumbria University.
I have Level 3 safeguarding adults and children certificate
I have a DBS certificate up to date from previous employment
I have up to date CPR training and first aid from previous employment
I have up to date moving and handling training from previous employment

My Availability

I am currently available every week day and most weekends and evenings and when I start work I will still have 4 days off a week.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

I am happy to discuss fees with families to ensure both parties are happy with the agreed wage.
