About Me
Hi, I'm Emma, I live at Hilltop in Breadsall with my husband Chris, my grown up children and a beautiful Cockapoo called Bear.
I provide a warm, welcoming home from home setting where children can feel safe, secure and valued. My house is spacious, safe, with plenty of room to play, learn, and relax. I also have a large, secure garden, giving lots of opportunity for outdoor play, exploration and messy fun, I have bifold doors giving easy access to the outdoor area encouraging free flow play from indoors to outdoors.
I love getting out and about everyday with the children, exploring our surroundings and enjoying the fresh air. I regularly take advantage of the local Playgroups in the area so the children can socialise, and make the most of nature through walks, park visits and outdoor play, I am blessed to live in a quiet area that has lots of beautiful outside spaces.
I encourage Healthy eating and offer balanced, nutritious meals and snacks, mealtimes are calm, enjoyable and an important part of our day together, Children are part of the mealtime routine, preparation, and table setting.
I work in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting each child's learning and development through play based activities tailored to their individual needs and interests.

My Experience
I have previously been registered as an OFSTED registered Childminder, providing care for children of 3 months to 11 years old.
My experience comes from being a Mum, having three boys, now aged 19, 14 & 12.
I also have experience of working with Children with additional needs, Autism and ADHD.

NCFE CACHE Award in Preparing to Work in Home Based Childcare (Level 3) - Current study
