Registered Childminder Job In Croydon
About Me
I’m a 28 year old mother to a very happy, curious little boy who will soon be turning two. We live in Croydon with my husband, who works full time.
I’m currently looking to return to work and would love to find a kind, reliable childminder to care for my son on a part-time basis. I’m hoping to start work with 2–3 days a week, it will be on Mondays and Thursdays or Fridays.
My son is a very happy and loving little boy, but he has so far only been cared for by family. Because of this, I’d really love for him to start spending time around other trusted adults, helping him gradually get used to new environments and people as well as other children before he begins nursery. He enjoys playing especially anything the wheels! reading books, and exploring, he benefits from a calm, nurturing setting where he can build confidence at his own pace.

My Requirements
As my son has only been cared for by family so far, it’s important to me that he is supported gently as he gets used to being around other adults and children. I would really value a patient, understanding childminder who is happy to offer a gradual settling-in period and help build his confidence.
Although I understand that many childminders have a minimum requirement of two days per week, I wanted to ask whether anyone might have availability for Friday’s only to begin with. This would really help my son ease into being cared for by someone new, and I would be open to increasing days in the future if it works well. Although I am also open to have a nanny to care for him at home on Friday and be able to take him out to the park, soft play etc;
