About Me
I provide a fun, caring, and nurturing home-from-home environment for babies and children of all ages. I am Ofsted registered and proudly follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to support each child’s learning and development through play, routine, and positive relationships. I offer affordable childcare from £6 per hour, including healthy snacks, meals, and enjoyable outings, as well as before and after school care where required. I am also able to accept funded childcare hours (subject to eligibility). My aim is to work closely with families to provide high-quality, flexible care, giving parents peace of mind while helping children feel happy, safe, and confident every day.
My Experience
I have experience caring for babies and children of different ages in a nurturing, supportive environment. I have been a registered childminder since 2003.
Through my experience, I have developed a strong understanding of children’s individual needs, routines, and stages of development. I am committed to providing consistent, high-quality care and regularly reflect on my practice to ensure children are supported to learn and grow at their own pace.
I have a degree in Childhood development and I have completed relevant childcare training and continue to develop my knowledge to support children’s safety, wellbeing, and early learning.
I also have 4 biological children of my own, who are all over 30 now and are outstanding citizens of the country and I have 2 adopted children, who are now in their late 20s and also flourishing well. My children have given me 3 grandchildren who are 16, 10 and 9 years old too.
My experience, combined with a caring and patient approach, allows me to build positive relationships with both children and parents.
