My Summary

My Experience

Currently, I am nannying for a lovely family in Didsbury, looking after a 12 month old little boy sole charge for a fixed term contract of 5 months. This is the middle transition of the mum going back to work and the little one starting nursery in June. My main responsibilities include baby weaning onto solids by cooking healthy meals (includes meal planning and creating shopping lists), attending local toddler groups and venturing out to many local libraries, museums and places of creativity all in Manchester. Prior to this role, I nannied for a wonderful family in Romiley, Stockport, where the little girl (age 6) had hip dysplasia and a baby boy who I started looking after at the age of 4 months old. My role consisted of working with the mum to look after both the little girl who had undergone surgery, and was in a cast for 9 weeks, and the baby boy. To care for both children, I adapted to meet both care needs, facilitate age and stage appropriate activities and being emotionally attuned to both children. Before this lovely role, I had been an admin assistant and administrator at the University of Manchester in the school of Law and Dentistry for nearly two years. My role included a number of customer service tasks, replying to individual students, amending timetables and organising guest lecturers. Prior to this, I had been a professional Ofsted registered nanny for two years from June 2020 till November 2022 in Winchester, working for two families in the first year and one family in the second year. Good organisational skills are key for me in prioritising the care needs of children as well as effectively recording care routines using a shared online platform uploaded from Microsoft word; planning age-appropriate activities and meeting specific parent expectations. I have used my intuition to work in partnership with the parents to deliver a child-centred attachment approach, using the same research, and problem-solving together. Prior to being an Ofsted-Registered nanny, I worked in a busy early year’s environment, looking after many children with different needs, ensuring confidently and keeping up to date on school policies including safeguarding. I have a first class degree in Childhood, youth and Community and a Level 3 in Childcare and Education. My hobbies include baking, ice skating and creating community through hosting with my partner.

My Availability

Available from June 2026 for part time/full time nanny position from minimum 24hrs a week up to 32hrs a week can be spread between 3-4 days ideally (8 hr days).
