About Me
We are a friendly family of three (plus one waggy tail). Our son is a curious, happy and sensitive little boy who will be turning one in March 2026. Completing our home is Nellie, our affectionate spaniel (who can behave like a cat when inside the house, watching from a distance or hanging out under a blanket on the sofa).
As I prepare to return to work in April 2026, we are looking for a kind, and dependable childminder (for during the work week) and a babysitter(s) to join our support network and help our son thrive.
My Requirements
What we're looking for:
CHILDMINDER:
Core Hours: We need childcare 4 days a week, 8am-5.30pm (ideally Tuesday – Friday, but these days can change depending on availability for the right childminder).
Start Date: If you have availability as early as April, but please just get in touch if you have anything from summer or autumn terms as we know we've left it a bit late to search for a childminder!
The Environment: We are searching for a true "home from home" setting. It’s important to us that our son is in an enriching environment where he can learn, play, and feel like part of the family.
Funded hours: we are eligible for both tax free childcare top up payments and the 30 funded hours from 1/4/2026.
BABYSITTER:
We are also hoping to find someone (or a few people) open to occasional evening or weekend babysitting (typically max 4 hours). We are happy to provide at least 4 weeks' notice for these dates.
Flexibility: We are happy for this to take place at our home (must be comfortable with Nellie the dog!) or we can drop him off at your home if you are within a 3-mile radius.
Babysitter and childminder do not have to be the same person.
