My Experience

I have over two years of professional experience working in a private day nursery as an Early Years Practitioner. In my current role, I work 40 hours a week as a key worker, where I am responsible for planning and supporting children’s learning and development, maintaining daily routines, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
I have hands-on experience caring for children across the early years age range, including supporting personal care, meal times, sleep routines, and age-appropriate activities. I closely monitor children’s progress, build strong relationships with parents, and adapt care to meet each child’s individual needs.
In addition to my professional experience, I am also a mum to a 3-year-old, which has given me valuable real-life parenting experience and a strong understanding of children’s emotional and practical needs. I am confident, patient, and calm, and I always prioritise children’s safety, wellbeing, and happiness.

Qualified Early Years Practitioner
Current Key Worker in a private day nursery
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Trained in safeguarding, health & safety, and child development
Bilingual (English & Greek)
GCSE & AS Level in Modern Greek
Background in professional catering (Level 2 & 3), supporting safe food preparation and hygiene for children
