Registered Childminder Job In London
About Me
We are a professional couple living in a three-bedroom flat less than a minute’s walk from Canonbury station. Our first baby was born on 3rd February 2026 and we are looking for experienced support as we adjust to life as new parents. We are easy-going and value good communication, reliability and a gentle, responsive approach to newborn care. Our home is smoke-free and pet-free, with good transport links and dedicated space for night-time care.
My Requirements
We are looking for an experienced night nanny or maternity nurse to start on a short-term basis between 20th February to 6th March 2026, with a view to extending into a longer-term arrangement from mid-March. The role is for newborn night support, with typical hours of 10pm–8am. Ideally you will have experience with young babies (including feeding support, settling, nappy changes and helping to establish gentle night-time routines) and recent references.
Good knowledge of safe sleep guidelines and a confident, calm approach with first-time parents are important to us. We can offer a comfortable sofa bed in a separate room (or long sofa in the living room), as well as a guest bathroom for your use, and a bedside crib/sleep-by-me cot for the baby. We are looking for someone warm, trustworthy and professional who is happy to guide first-time parents while respecting our preferences and our baby’s needs.
