My Experience
During my gap year, I lived in New York as an au pair for three teenage boys, where I was responsible for daily care, school routines, activities, and general support—an experience that really strengthened my independence and confidence with children.
I also have extensive babysitting experience with children aged 3 and up, as well as volunteering as a teaching assistant in French language classrooms for young children. This has helped me develop patience, creativity, and a strong ability to communicate clearly and positively with kids of different ages.
I’m very sociable, chatty, and approachable, and I genuinely love children’s sense of humour and energy. I enjoy building a good rapport with the children I care for, while always making sure they feel safe, supported, and happy. I’d be delighted to help out a family looking for a dependable and enthusiastic babysitter!
