About Me

I am Vicky, I live in Whittlesey with my husband and two children. I provide a calm, happy environment with a strength in encouraging children to cooperate and help each other to follow our rules. I am dedicated to keeping children safe by consistently following my Safeguarding policy. I am registered with Ofsted on the Compulsory part and Voluntary part of the childcare Register. I met all requirements at my recent Ofsted inspection, 2025. My Child Protection, Safeguarding and First Aid training is up to date.

My Experience

I have provided childcare to parents in Whittlesey for 16 years and previous to this I taught Years One and Two in Primary school then Early Years, for 7 years which was extremely rewarding. I have been graded as GOOD for my first three inspections by Ofsted. Based in the centre of Whittlesey.

My Qualifications

P.G.C.E Primary Education.
BA Graphic Design. Paediatric First Aid.

My Availability

I now provide childcare in term time to children aged 5 to 16 years and can pick up or drop off children at Alderman Jacobs Primary school.I also provide childcare for children attending any Secondary school.

The childminder observes children carefully and plans activities that support their interests and development, with particularly excellent outdoor learning opportunities including gardening and animal care.
