My Requirements

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and engaging individual to support our family with after-school childcare 3 days a week, Mon, Tue and Wed and some time on Saturday afternoon. The role will involve collecting our five-year-old son from primary school and our one-year-old daughter from nursery, bringing them home safely, and caring for them in a calm and positive environment.
Responsibilities will include serving already prepared meals, playing with the children, and spending quality time with them so they feel happy, supported, and comfortable. We would love someone who naturally bonds with children and enjoys being actively involved in their play and development.
There may also be an opportunity to support our son with light tutoring appropriate to Year One level, such as reading, basic numeracy, or creative learning. If you have musical skills or can introduce simple instruments, this would be a lovely bonus but is not essential.
In addition, we are open to potentially expanding the role to include some light household support, such as helping with cleaning or light cooking depending on availability and mutual agreement.
