About Me
My name is Janet, I have three children. My eldest is 8 and in primary 4. Robert is my middle child and is 6, in primary 2 & my youngest is Anna and she is 4 and she is at nursery. They all go to Eaglesham primary.
My Requirements
My eldest daughter Janet is needing some help with her school work. She struggles a lot especially with her reading and sounding out letters, a lot of the time it’s just guessing .
She has started asking to go to the toilet when the class are reading so she can avoid her turn to read. I feel so sorry for her but I know everyone struggles with certain things. She is one of the younger children in the class where some of them are turning 9 and she has just turned 8. She is happy to have a tutor but would prefer it to be a lady. Janet is really hard on herself and doesn’t have faith in herself at all. Numbers are also very tricky for her but reading seems to make her feel very anxious and tends to ask to go to the toilet to get out of certain situations. She does have a group at school she attends during school hours to help with her reading however I do think she would definitely benefit from having extra support. Janet is a really kind and caring individual but she is so so hard on herself and will always say she isn’t smart and she feels stupid. I’d love to be able to help Janet.
