Jen
SEN parent looking for an extra pair of hands
About Me
I am stay at home Mum with 2 children with additional needs. My 7 year old daughter is very bright but has an autism and ADHd diagnosis. My 4 year old son has global developmental delay and autism. Both the kids are gentle, funny and kind. Up until now I have been looking after them both full time but from September the kids will be going to different schools so I need some help to divide and conquer.
In an ideal world we would like someone to help with school runs in the morning and after school but we can probably manage the morning if a split day isn’t possible. We are also willing to pay for a full day although during term time you will not be required to work a full day. During the holidays hours will likely be a later start (maybe around 10am).
You will mostly have sole charge of one of the children but occasionally there will be some shared care days and some sole charge of both children days.
We are a nice normal family who are looking for someone to become part of our family and just generally be an extra pair of hands.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone patient, supportive and flexible to take on our crazy crew.
We can be very flexible with days and times but ideally we would be looking for someone to help with both the before school and after school runs but if a split day isn’t feasible then we can manage the moorings. We are also prepared to pay for a full day even though during term time you won’t be working all day. During the holidays it would be a later start as we aren’t early risers and can be flexible.
You would mostly have sole charge of one of the children but there will be times when it will be shared care or sole charge of both of them.
The person we take on must be happy to be self employed and OFSTED registered so that we can claim the financial support to pay you.
We are a nice, normal family looking for someone to just be an extra pair of hands.
