My name is Gemma. I’m 37, a first-time mum and a college lecturer. My partner, Solomon, is 32 and a professional athlete. We welcomed our daughter, Alani, in June 2025, and she has quickly become the centre of our world.

We’re now beginning to look for a childminder or nursery setting for her to start in August 2026, and we’re keen to find a nurturing environment where she can learn, play, and build confidence. I will be going back to work 4 days (I am yet to confirm which day I will have off as yet), I work in Walsall so I would need to drop her off around 7.45am and collect her by around 2pm if that’s possible.
