About Me

Hello! My name is Ana Rita, I am 28 years old and I have been working as a babysitter since I was 18, when I started university. I am Portuguese and moved to Edinburgh earlier this year. I am currently looking for a babysitting role to earn some extra income while doing something I truly enjoy – caring for children. I am particularly interested in a position that can be flexible and compatible with my current work in Portugal, where I provide online dietetic consultations.

I hold a degree in Nutritional Sciences and I am a qualified Dietitian in Portugal. I also have a Master's degree in Education and a postgraduate qualification in Paediatric Nutrition, giving me a strong background in child development, health, education, and nutrition.

I am a very patient, caring, and responsible person, and I always prioritise children's wellbeing and safety. I speak Portuguese fluently and English at an intermediate (B2) level, which can be a great opportunity for children to be exposed to a second language.

I am available for regular babysitting during weekdays, as well as evening or overnight care (subject to availability), which can be ideal for parents who would like to enjoy a date night during the week.
