Hello! My name is Alex and my wife (also called Alex) and I are looking for a part time nanny to support with our two wonderful children.
Our eldest daughter is approaching 2 and a half years old, whilst our youngest son is 13 weeks old.
We’re a warm, loving but busy household! Always lots of laughs and never dull.
My Requirements
We are looking for a warm, experienced and reliable nanny to care for our toddler and newborn in our home on Wednesdays and Thursdays. The role will focus on providing attentive, nurturing care, following established routines, and supporting both children’s development in a calm and loving environment.
My wife owns a business in Cardiff town centre, so some mothers help out and about may be required.
? Essential Requirements
• Proven experience caring for both newborns and toddlers
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Paediatric First Aid certificate (in date or willingness to renew)
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Two recent childcare references
• Non-smoker
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
• Comfortable following family routines and parenting preferences
• Full driving licence and access to car
? Desirable (but not essential)
• Childcare qualification (e.g. Level 3 Early Years / equivalent)
• Experience caring for siblings of different ages
• Registered with the Wales Voluntary Approval of Home Childcare Providers Scheme
