My Experience

Hi! I'm Maya, and I recently completed my PGCE in Primary Education (5–11) with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) at the University of Brighton.

I recently moved to Lewes and have experience working with children across the primary age range. During my teacher training, I completed placements in both Year 2 at a primary school in Lewes and Year 6 at a primary school in Brighton, where I planned and delivered engaging lessons, supported children's learning and wellbeing, and built positive relationships with pupils and their families.

I'm patient, responsible, and enjoy creating fun, safe, and engaging environments for children. Whether it's helping with homework, reading stories, playing games, or keeping to bedtime routines, I'm committed to providing attentive and reliable care.

I'm looking forward to supporting local families in Lewes and the surrounding area through babysitting and childcare.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour

My babysitting rate is £16 per hour, which includes attentive childcare, play-based activities, reading, and support with routines such as homework and bedtime. For families looking for more targeted academic support, I offer private tutoring sessions from £30 per hour, tailored to each child's individual needs, including reading, writing, maths, SATs preparation, and confidence-building.
