About Me

We’re a warm, creative, heart-led little family.
I’m a yoga teacher and run my own wellness studio in Bexhill Veena & the Moon, so calm, wellbeing, and emotional awareness are a big part of how I live and parent. I really value creating a peaceful, supportive environment, both at the studio and at home.
My partner Yuri, is a musician, so our life has a creative rhythm to it. There’s usually music, movement, and a relaxed, soulful atmosphere around us. Our schedules aren’t always typical 9–5, but we’re organised and intentional about how we manage things, especially when it comes to our son.
Gabriel (Gabi) is 5 and has just started Reception. He’s very well spoken, curious, and full of personality. He is seriously into cars. Not just “vroom vroom,” but actual makes and brands. He’ll happily inform you what car you’re driving and whether it’s a good one. He’s also got a great head for numbers, loves counting, and is a big fan of Numberblocks. At the same time, he’s a sweet, affectionate boy… with just the right amount of cheekiness (as they do!).
He’s growing up in a space where creativity is normal, feelings are listened to, and kindness really matters. We use gentle communication and value trust and connection, and we’re looking for someone who feels comfortable in that kind of environment.
Overall, we’re calm but lively, grounded, a bit holistic, and very heart-centred.
I’m also a full-time student who receives the Childcare Grant, so I’m looking for a babysitter/childcarer who is Ofsted registered, as payments need to be processed through the Childcare Grant Payment Service.
