About Me

I am a mum to 3 boys (currently age 10,8 and 6) and I live in Bishopbriggs, near Asda, with them and my husband who is a primary school teacher. My children all now attend school, and I’m looking forward to pursuing a new career as a childminder.
I am offering a childminding service for up to 3 children from 8am-5pm, mainly within term-time, with some exceptions. I can provide care for 1 child below 1 year and up to 3 under school age children during this time, with a maximum of 3 children at a time, plus my own 3 boys when they are not at school.
The service will be run from my home in Bishopbriggs, which has recently been extended and now provides a lovely open plan downstairs space in which to create a home from home experience for children. There is an open plan kitchen, dining and living room area, a shower room and toilet, and another living room which will be available for quiet nap times, along with access to a spacious back garden with play equipment. As this is my home and I have my own children, the space is set up to allow children to safely play and have fun.

My Experience

Although I am new to childminding, I have been working with children since before I had my own. I own and run Blossom Yoga, where I teach prenatal yoga and birth preparation classes, women’s yoga and mum and baby yoga. I also run occasional kids’ yoga classes. I have been doing this for almost 8 years now. I am also the leader at a local Beaver Scout group, and when my children were younger I helped to run a local playgroup.
