About Me
Hello, I'm Sarah, a newly registered childminder based in Lymm and mum to four children.
I offer a warm, home-from-home environment where children can feel safe, secure and part of everyday family life. My approach focuses on healthy eating, active lifestyles, outdoor play, and exploring the local community through activities such as toddler groups, library visits and local outings.
I understand that every family is different, and I know that childcare doesn't always fit neatly into standard working hours. I aim to provide a flexible and supportive service that works around the realities of modern family life, helping parents find childcare solutions that work for them.
My Experience
As a mum of four children, I have many years of hands-on experience caring for children of different ages, personalities and needs.
Alongside raising my own family, I have spent 15 years working as cabin crew in a safety-critical role, where I received extensive first aid training and gained real-world experience responding to emergencies, supporting families and caring for people in a wide variety of situations.
During the pandemic, I also worked in a local care home, further developing my experience of providing compassionate, person-centred care.
I have experience catering for a range of dietary requirements and allergies and understand the importance of ensuring children can enjoy meals safely and confidently.
My Qualifications
• Paediatric First Aid (12 Hour)
• Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Training
• Introduction to Childminding (Local Authority)
• Enhanced DBS Check
• Cabin Crew Attestation (First Aid, Emergency Procedures, Safety Management, Human Factors & Passenger Welfare)
My Availability
CORE HOURS
Monday–Thursday
Standard childcare hours: 6:00am–8:00pm
• Flexible childcare
• Funded hours accepted where eligible
• Breakfast Club & Drop-Off for Cherry Tree Primary School
• Overnight childcare available
• School holiday childcare usually available by arrangement
I offer flexible childcare for families with a wide range of working patterns. Whether you work regular hours, shifts, rotating rosters or changing schedules, I am happy to discuss arrangements that work for your family.
Families can use their agreed hours around changing rotas rather than being tied to the same fixed days every week.
Having worked in aviation for 15 years, I understand that many families need childcare that can adapt to changing schedules and non-standard working patterns.
I may also be able to offer occasional care outside standard hours, including 5am–6am or 8pm–10pm, by prior agreement.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
Funding accepted where eligible.
No add-on charges.
Introductory offer: meals and snacks provided free of charge from September 2026 to August 2027.
