About Me

I am a fully Ofsted Registered childminder. I am registered for Funded early education entitlement (FEEE) 9 months & 2 years. I offer a home from home setting and I run a child led setting, which means I always put the child at the forefront.

My Experience

I was an Ofsted registered childminder between 2017-2020 and received a grading of "good" on my inspection in 2019. I hold a level 3 childcare qualification, have safeguarding experience, paediatric first aid and food hygiene. I follow the EYFS programme (Early years foundation stage) in my home from home childcare setting. I have two children aged 14 and 16 and live with them and my husband of 22 years. I am also part of a team that runs our local Brownies, Guides and Rangers group each week as a volunteer in my community.
My childcare setting is a 0-3 years small family friendly setting. I focus on 0-3's to give them the best educational start and get them ready for nursery and School. It is my greatest honour watching them develop from babies into confident 3 year olds ready to explore a bigger setting.
