Registered Childminder With Special Needs Experience Job In Hastings
About Me
I’m a working mum with two school-age children who attend two different local schools. We’re a busy, warm household and life can be a bit full-on, so I’m looking for someone kind, reliable and calm to become part of our routine.
My children are lovely and fairly independent, but they are neurodivergent, so understanding, patience and clear communication are really important in our home. We value consistency, flexibility and someone who can just be there and keep things steady.
My Requirements
I’m starting work and will be leaving the house around 7:00am, so I’m looking for someone who can help with morning care and school drop-offs, then afternoon pick-ups and stay with the children after school until one of us gets home.
Most days I’ll be home by around 5pm, but sometimes their dad or older brother may be home earlier. Some days may run a little later, so flexibility is important.
The role mainly involves:
• Being at home in the morning while I leave for work
• Doing two school drop-offs
• Afternoon pick-ups from both schools
• Staying with the children after school until an adult family member returns
Experience with ASD / ADHD / PDA is really important, as a calm, structured and understanding approach makes a big difference.
