Experienced Live-Out Nanny – South Nottingham (Near Keyworth) – Permanent Role

We are a warm, respectful family based in South Nottingham near Keyworth seeking a highly capable and experienced live-out nanny to become a valued, long-term part of our family three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday).

This is a permanent, employed position best suited to a confident childcare professional who is experienced in sole-charge roles and comfortable managing the varying needs of both younger and school-aged children.

The Role
• Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Hours: 7:30am – 6:00pm
• Start Date: Negotiable for the right person
• Contract: Permanent, PAYE employed position
• Salary: Competitive and negotiable depending on experience

We have two children aged 1 and 4. The role involves full responsibility during working hours, including managing routines, school runs, and developmental activities.

Key Responsibilities
• Sole-charge care of our 1-year-old
• School drop-offs and pick-ups for our 4-year-old
• Planning and delivering stimulating, age-appropriate activities
• Supporting early learning and homework as our eldest progresses through school
• Preparing healthy meals for both children
• Encouraging outdoor play and maintaining structured routines
• Providing consistency, positive boundaries and a calm environment

Light child-related housekeeping:
• Children’s laundry
• Keeping play areas organised
• Cleaning up after meals and activities

About Our Family

We are working parents with a calm home environment and no pets. Our parenting style is relaxed but structured, and we value warmth, reliability and open communication. We enjoy being outdoors and encouraging independence.

Essential Requirements
• Minimum 3+ years’ nanny experience in a sole-charge role
• Proven experience caring for babies, preschool and school-aged children
• Confidence supporting homework and early school development
• Experience supporting children with ADHD or strong behavioural understanding (highly desirable)
• Enhanced DBS
• Paediatric First Aid certification (in date)
• Full driving licence and own car (essential)
• Non-smoker
• Excellent checkable references
