My Requirements

Full time Live-Out Housekeeper-Nanny wanted

Hours: Monday-Friday 13.00-19.00 during term time plus one night babysitting per week (35hrs pay guaranteed each week). School holiday hours may differ. Start by Easter 2026.

Pay: £17/hr net live-out. Minimum 20 days holiday per annum to be taken in school holidays at times agreed with family.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• School pick up for youngest child.
• Children’s evening meal preparation and clean up daily, plus meals for freezer for weekend.
• Nanny responsibilities for youngest child:
o Bathe youngest and prepare for bed.
o Organise what is needed for school next day.
o Basic help with homework and practice.
• Tidying children’s areas, organising clothes, labelling clothes, etc.
• Taking children to appointments.
• All family laundry and ironing throughout the year.
• Organisation of kitchen and ordering weekly shop/buying food as necessary .
• Light housekeeping tasks as required, including but not limited to cleaning floors and kitchen surfaces. Leaving family home in clean and neat condition.
• Running errands locally and waiting for deliveries and tradespeople.
• Be available for very occasional over-night care, with full overtime pay.

We already have a cleaner who comes two days per week.

Minimum requirements: spoken English sufficient to conduct a telephone interview, a DBS, the right to work in the UK, at least one set of checkable references.

Preferred but not essential: driving licence.
