My Summary

My Experience

I started volunteering at a child church group back in 2014 running activities and games for the toddler and pre school room (2-4). I further volunteered at a summer program for 6 weeks in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.
I then started babysitting local families from the church group and friends children including twins aged 2 1/2 at the time. I worked for quite a few families with varying needs including children with SEND needs. I have experience in evening babysitting, weekend babysitting and taking children to school.
I started my level 3 childcare degree in 2016 and completed such in 2018. In that time as part of my course I worked at a nursery one year for children up to 5 years old, my second year I worked at a primary school (for children aged 3 to 8 years)
After completion I went onto university and did a uni degree in Psychology graduating with a 2:1 in 2021
Since then I took a break from childcare but have since returned, working in a nursery 4 days a week, for which I have been working at for nearly a year.
I have an up to date first aid qualification, DBS check, level 2 food hygiene certificate and safe guarding certification.
I am kind, approachable and loving. I really enjoy creating a loving environment for young children. I have specific experience with the 1-2 year old age range but I have experience with children up to 10 years old. I really enjoy building relationships with the children I care for by being patient, loving and attentive to their needs. Watching the children grow and develop in themselves is always enjoyable.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 diploma in Childcare completed in 2018 with an A.
I have an up to date first aid certificate
I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology (2:1)
I am currently completing a level 5 in Early Years Senior Practitioner Diploma.

My Availability

I am available on weekends and evenings weekdays (after 6pm). I can work overnight on weekends and until 6am during the week.
From mid July I will be available across the weekdays and completely flexible on timings.
Travel is not an issue for me as I am regularly in Bicester, Kidlington, Oxford and Didcot so happy to take any jobs there.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour

My day rate is £14 an hour for one child up to 9pm
My night rate (after 9pm) is £16 an hour
I charge an additional £2.50 an hour for each additional child
