About Me

I live in County Durham with my husband and our cheeky cockapoo, Otis. I’m currently in my final year studying Early Childhood Studies, which has deepened my understanding of child development and strengthened my passion for supporting children as they learn and grow. I’m caring, patient, and enthusiastic, and I love creating fun, nurturing environments where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore the world around them. I also feel very confident with babies and toddlers.

My Experience

I have worked as a supply Teaching Assistant in primary schools, provided 1:1 support for children with SEN and I currently work part time as a nursery practitioner.
I have also been a care assistant where I was responsible for administering medication, meal preparations, domestic duties and helping with personal care.

My Qualifications

I am currently in my final year of a BA degree in Children and Early Childhood. Therfore I have a strong awareness of the EYFS curriculum, language acquisition, child development and safeguarding.
I hold a certificate in Paediatric First Aid and I am currently waiting for a new DBS in my married name.
