My Experience

I have experience caring for children aged 5 years and above, including before- and after-school care and school holiday provision. I support children with their daily routines, homework where appropriate, and encourage independence, responsibility, and positive behaviour.

I provide a safe and engaging environment with a range of age-appropriate activities, including creative play, outdoor activities, games, and opportunities to relax after a busy school day. I understand the importance of balancing structured activities with free play to suit each child’s interests and energy levels.

I also have experience promoting good social skills, confidence, and emotional wellbeing, helping children to build positive relationships with peers. I work closely with parents and schools where needed to ensure consistency and continuity of care.

My approach is supportive, respectful, and child-centred, ensuring older children feel listened to, valued, and comfortable in my care. I offer reliable and punctual school runs for local schools in and around Gravesend. I ensure children are safely collected and dropped off on time, following agreed routines and safety procedures at all times.

Children are supported before and after school, with time to relax, have a snack, complete homework if needed, and take part in age-appropriate activities. I understand the importance of clear communication with parents and schools to ensure a smooth and consistent routine for each child.

My priority is always the safety, wellbeing, and happiness of the children in my care, giving parents peace of mind during busy school days.

My Qualifications

I am a registered childminder qualified to care for children aged 5 years and above. I have completed the required training to provide safe, high-quality childcare and to meet all relevant safeguarding and welfare requirements.

My training supports my understanding of children’s development, behaviour management, and the importance of creating a positive, inclusive environment for school aged children. I am knowledgeable in supporting children’s emotional wellbeing, encouraging independence, and promoting positive social skills.

I am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure my knowledge and practice remain up to date and aligned with current childcare standards.

My Availability

I am available Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 6:00pm. I do not offer overnight care.
My hours are designed to support working families, providing reliable childcare during the school day, before and after school, and during school holidays where required.

My Fees

• Childminding from £8.00 per hour

Daily care (8:00am – 6:00pm): From £8 per hour
Drop off & Pick up £8 each

All fees are agreed in advance, and I am happy to discuss individual arrangements to suit families’ needs.
