About Me
I am a 27 year old living with my 11 month old puppy in Gillingham Dorset. I work as a medical secretary for a hospital so I have a an enhanced DBS certificate & first aid training. I previously worked as a carer for special needs and elderly patients. I have lots of nieces and nephews, the youngest being 5 months old and the eldest 10 years old. I love creating fun, engaging activities for children to help them learn in an enjoyable way. I don’t have any commitments outside of my day job so I can be flexible. I typically work from home 7:30-3:30 but there is some flexibility with my working hours.
My Experience
I have worked in a hospital for 5 years regularly coming into contact with paediatric patients and dealing with their parents. Prior to that I worked in a GP surgery and also as a carer. Whilst this was not working directly with children I have a strong passion for caring and support people, children included. As mentioned above I have lots of nieces and nephews (I am 1 of 6 children!) whom I regularly see. I often help my sister with her two girls (5 months and 3years). My sister works at a nursery in Bath and Mum works as a GP so I come from a loving, caring family.
