We’re a working family in Wembley Park looking for an experienced, hands-on nanny for our 14-month-old daughter, 3 days a week (approx. 10am–4pm, flexible — happy to discuss in person).
Our daughter is a bright and affectionate little girl who has recently recovered from an illness. She takes time to warm up to new people and needs someone who is genuinely patient and can build trust gradually. This is not a supervisory role - we need someone who actively engages, plans activities, and takes ownership of the day.
What matters most to us: real experience with toddlers, strong references (we will call them), and someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with young children.
My Requirements
What we’re looking for:
? Proven experience with under-2s, particularly children with separation anxiety or strong attachment behaviours
? Proactive and hands-on - able to plan and rotate age-appropriate activities (play, reading, outdoor time).
? Takes initiative and owns the role — we will not micro-manage
? Handles feeding, play, naps, and basic child-related tasks independently
? Calm, patient, and emotionally attuned — not easily flustered by a clingy or upset child
? Maintains hygiene, feeding routines, and sleep schedules properly
? Current paediatric first aid certificate
? Background check required
