About Me

SPACES AVAILABLE NOW. I am an Ofsted-registered childminder based in Poole, just a short walk from Longfleet Primary School. Our home is welcoming, spacious, and filled with a wide range of engaging resources to support children’s learning and play.

I work alongside my husband (of 23 years), Paul, who is also my registered assistant. We share our home with our three wonderful children, aged 19, 16, and 11, who we are incredibly proud of.

Our setting is built on strong values, and we support children to develop kindness, resilience, respect, empathy and inclusion through everyday role-modelling, stories and play. We provide a safe, nurturing environment where every child is supported in all areas of their development and well-being. We love spending time outdoors exploring nature, getting creative, and offering children opportunities to learn through meaningful, joyful experiences.

My Experience

Alongside over 19 years experience as a parent, I have four years of hands-on experience working in early years education. I also have experience looking after children with additional needs, medical conditions and allergies.

My Qualifications

Safeguarding (partnership working) level 3, Full Paedatric first aid certificate, Leading & Managing a childminding setting course, Safeguarding children designated lead course. I am currently studying my level 3 City & Guilds diploma Early years Practitioner qualification which I am due to finish soon. I have also done numberous early years Continuous Professional Development training courses. Aside from my childcare qualifications, I have an HND in Fashion Marketing, Advanced City & Guilds in Interior Design and A levels in Art, English and Photography.

My Availability

I am a newly registered childminder and I currently have availablity now. I am open 8am until 5.30pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

My Fees

  • Childminding from £7.00 per hour

Government funded hours and Tax free Childcare available subject to eligiblity. Additional fee's may be required for some trips and outings and for late pick ups.
