My Experience

I’m currently studying Level 3 Childcare and have experience working as a teaching assistant, including providing 1:1 support for children with special educational needs. This has helped me develop patience, adaptability and a strong understanding of safeguarding and individual learning needs.

I have also worked as an assistant in an afterschool club, where I supported children with activities, supervised play, and ensured a safe and positive environment at the end of the school day. In addition, my experience working in a soft play setting has strengthened my awareness of health and safety, supervision in busy environments, and managing different age groups confidently.

Through both my studies and practical experience, I have developed a good understanding of child development and creating engaging, age-appropriate activities. I am reliable, calm and caring, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident when leaving their children in someone else’s care.

I am available for evening and weekend babysitting and am happy to help with homework, creative play, and bedtime routines.
