My Experience

Caring for children has always been a natural part of my life. During my undergraduate studies, I looked after my neighbour’s children, supporting them with their daily routines, schoolwork, playtime, and personal care. Through this experience, I learned how important patience, kindness, and attention are in helping children feel safe and loved.

As the first daughter in a family of seven in a Nigerian home, I have played a major role in raising and supporting my younger siblings. From helping with meals and homework to offering comfort and encouragement, I have grown up in a nurturing role that taught me responsibility, empathy, and leadership from a young age.

These experiences, together with my background in Environmental Health Science, have shaped me into a caring, dependable, and passionate childcare provider who truly enjoys helping children grow with confidence and happiness.

My Qualifications

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health Science, which has given me strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, safety, and disease prevention. This helps me maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment for children at all times.

In addition, I have received training in First Aid, Health, and Social Care, equipping me with the skills to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations and to support children’s physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. I am confident in handling minor injuries, promoting healthy routines, and recognising when a child may need extra support.

Alongside my academic background, my personal childcare experience has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and compassion. I am committed to providing reliable, high-quality care while creating a warm and nurturing environment where children feel secure and valued.
