Dorna
Registered Childminder Job In Sheffield
About Me
I am the mother of Nora, who is two months old, and I am currently a student nurse continuing my university studies and clinical placements.
I am looking for a kind, reliable, and experienced childminder who I can trust to care for my baby in a safe, calm, and nurturing environment.
As a first-time mother and someone new to using childcare services, I value working with someone who is patient, supportive, and communicates clearly with parents.
My priority is to build a trusting, long-term relationship with a childminder who understands my baby’s needs, can comfort and soothe her when needed, and supports her emotional and developmental wellbeing.
My Requirements
I am looking for an Ofsted-registered childminder with experience caring for young babies, especially infants under six months.
My main priorities are my baby’s safety, comfort, emotional wellbeing, and healthy development. I would like someone who follows safe sleep and feeding guidelines, maintains high standards of hygiene, and is trained in infant first aid.
It is very important to me that the childminder is attentive, responsive, and confident in comforting and settling my baby when she is upset, tired, or unsettled.
I am hoping to work with a flexible childminder who can adapt to my university and placement timetable:
• Monday to Friday only
• University days: approximately 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Placement days: approximately 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Usually 3 to 4 days per week, with occasional need for 5 days
I am looking for someone who accepts Student Finance childcare payments.
It is important to me that my childminder actively engages with my baby through age-appropriate play, sensory activities, and interaction to support her learning and development.
I would appreciate regular updates about feeding, sleeping, nappies, and daily activities, either through messages, photos, or a daily diary.
