About Me
- Hi, my name is Caitlyn, I am a soon to be 23 year old level 3 nursery practitioner from Aberdeen.
- I am a very fun loving, caring, patient, reliable, energetic and trustworthy person who has a strong passion for working with and caring for children. I am a very patient person whose priority is to make sure that children feel safe, happy and comfortable around me. I am more than happy to help with jobs around the house, prepare meals, help with homework, watch any pets, entertain the children and best support the child’s routine and make sure each parent feels confident and at ease while their child is in my care.
- I aim to create a fun, safe, enjoyable, creative and engaging environment for all children whether that is playing games, doing arts and crafts, reading stories or going for walks and outing around the community.
- I absolutely adore animals and have a 5 year old cat called Daisy who I absolutely adore
- My hobbies are being creative whether that’s arts and crafts, scrapbooking, colouring and much more. I enjoy going for walks and being in the outdoors. My other passions in my spare time are building Lego and reading books
My Experience
- In 2020 I completed a SCQF level 6 in children and young people which involved me doing a placement in a primary school.
- In 2026 I gained a SVQ level 3 which qualified me to become a qualified nursery practitioner. I have worked in a private nursery for 5 years which gave me lots of hands on experience caring for children from the age of 3 months to 5 years and I also cared for children with special and additional needs.
- I am PVG checked and SSSC registered as well as being first aid trained and having completed lots of training courses such as child protection, safeguarding, allergies and intolerances and much much more. I have also done lots of babysitting for family and friends
My Qualifications
- SCQF Level 6 children and young people
- SVQ level 3 social services children and young people
- Full first aid training
- Other training certificates include child protection, safeguarding, working with special needs children, allergies and intolerances, food hygiene and much more
My Availability
- As of now I am very flexible with my availability during weekdays and weekends but this is subject to change as I am currently looking for some daytime childcare related work so my daily availability will be likely to change when I have a permanent work post in place.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
My fees will vary based on how many children I am caring for and based on duties required of me:
- Babysitting rate: From £12.00 an hour
- Additional £2.00 charge for each extra I am caring for e.g siblings
- Anything over and above babysitting duties e.g light house work, pet care, family meal prep etc would be negotiable
