My Experience
I have been a big part of caring for my younger siblings, supporting them as they have grown from newborns through to the age of 11. This has given me valuable hands-on experience with children at different stages of development and helped me understand the importance of patience, consistency, reassurance and creating a safe, loving environment.
At 16, I started my own babysitting service for friends and family, which I continued before moving away to university. I am now excited to return to babysitting, build on my experience and support families who need an extra helping hand. Caring for children has always been something close to my heart, and my long-term goal is to become a foster parent. I hope to continue learning, growing and making a positive difference in children’s lives along the way.
My Qualifications
Although I don’t currently hold any formal childcare qualifications, I have gained valuable hands-on experience through helping care for my younger siblings from newborns through to age 11, as well as running my own babysitting service for friends and family from the age of 16.
I believe that caring for children is about more than qualifications; it’s about patience, understanding, encouragement and helping every child feel safe, happy and valued. I love getting creative and finding fun ways for children to learn, whether that’s through music, games, arts and crafts, imaginative play or outdoor adventures exploring the world around them.
I want to create an environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves, building confidence and discovering their own interests.
My Availability
I have a flexible schedule and am happy to work with families to find times that suit their needs. I can be available for daytime babysitting, occasional evenings, weekends and last-minute or emergency bookings, depending on my availability. I understand that every family has different routines and commitments, so I am happy to discuss arrangements in advance and do my best to accommodate your needs. My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
My standard babysitting rate starts at £12 per hour in Salford and Manchester. Rates may vary depending on the number of children, the hours required and the responsibilities involved. Evening, weekend and emergency bookings can be discussed individually. I am happy to agree on fees in advance so that everything is clear and comfortable for both families and myself. I aim to provide caring, reliable and affordable childcare, and I am happy to discuss your family’s needs. Travel costs may apply for locations further away from Salford.
