About Me
I am a home-based childminder in Somercotes. My setting ‘Little Wildlings’ is a warm, family-focused environment shared with my two children, Partner and our dog. I offer nurturing, play-based care where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to explore. With a strong focus on early learning, outdoor play, and positive relationships, I create a homely space that supports each child’s confidence, curiosity, and wellbeing.
My Experience
I bring valuable hands-on experience to my childminding setting as a parent to two children, aged 8 and 3, and through six years working in a school as a SEND Teaching Assistant. My background has given me a deep understanding of individual needs, inclusive practice, and supporting children’s emotional and developmental growth.
My Qualifications
I am committed to providing high quality, knowledgeable care, supported by a strong foundation of early years training. My qualifications include:
• Level 2 Certificate in Caring for Children
• Level 2 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning
• Level 2 Understanding Autism
• Level 2 Understanding Behaviour That Challenges
• Introductory Childminding Training Course
• Early Years Development Training
• Paediatric First Aid (12 hour)
My Availability
I have full-day places from October along with school drop-off and pick-up for Riddings Infant & Junior School.

- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
